As your grandmother knew, brightly colored drapes were all the rage back in the '40's and '50's. She, of course, fit right in with her living room done with drapes made from a fabric like this lovely bag. It is made from vintage bark cloth from that time. The flowers are in reds. The leaves are done in 8 shades of green, from light to hunter. All on a background of light gray. The reverse side is a contemporary fabric of 2 shades of red stripe with a jacquard floral pattern. There is 1 slip pocket on this side. 2 matching fabric covered buttons, 1 on each side, make this bag easy to close using the fabric loop. The handle drop is 10 and 1/2 inches.
