As your grandmother know, brightly colored drapes were all the rage in the 1940's and 1950's. She, of course, fit right in with her living room done with drapes made from fabric like this lovely bag. It is made from vintage bark cloth from that time. The flowers are in reds. The leaves are done in 8 shades of green, from light to hunter. All on a gray background.

The reverse side is done in a light weight green fabric in a striae pattern. There is a slip pocket on this side.

2 matching fabric covered buttons make closing this bag easy using the fabric loop.

Handle drop is 10 and 1/2 inches.
